The TERRA that gardeners enjoy today is a product of the vision of Jim Pepetone. From the days of his youth growing up over the family fruit market in downtown Toronto to today, Jim has been committed to providing freshness and quality. These values instilled in him by his father, have become a way of life as his sons have joined him in building the dream that is now TERRA.

Embracing his love of greenhouse construction and combining that with the long-standing family commitment of freshness and quality, Jim and the boys set out to build a series of greenhouses that the gardening community could shop in. The result is comfortable, covered, operating greenhouses creating a shopping experience where customers can shop directly from some of the benches we grow on.

TERRA TODAY

The little garden centre that could has now become four retail garden centres with full production capability. They are located in Burlington, Waterdown, Vaughan and on the Mississauga / Milton border. We now employ a large team of experienced and knowledgeable people and under the mentorship of Jim and his family have been proud to launch the careers of many young college students, hundreds of whom we employ each summer.

All of this and a future that we very much look forward to has stemmed from that long-standing Pepetone family commitment to old fashioned value and service. We are proud to service the gardeners and communities in which we are located.
