Growing Japanese Maples

There are over 1000 varieties of Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum) available to the home gardener, varying in sizes, leaf size, texture, shape, colour, and growth habit. The two main groups that we carry at TERRA are the palmate leaf and the cutleaf types.

Roses

Planting: Dig a hole that is about twice a big as the pot. Place the rose in the hole with the graft (the swollen area of your rose where all of the stems originate) about 2 inches (6cm) below the ground surface. Fill in the remainder of the hole with Rose Soil.
