Maple Royal Red

The Royal Red King Maple has burgundy leaves that last all through the summer and into fall. As a specimen, this tree is a star with its consistant dark burgundy foliage. It has a more compact and slightly narrower habit than many other maples. It is a slower grower and is good in urban setting as it is tolerant of a wide variety of conditions. Grows 30′ high and 25′ wide.

Use mulch to cover soil surfaces under trees to retain soil moisture, keeping roots cooler and helping to prevent weed growth.
