Monstera adansonii (Swiss Cheese Plant)
Monstera adansonii, or Swiss Cheese plant, is a popular houseplant that just really wants to GROW! This unique and interesting tropical plant has distinctive, hole-filled leaves on long, vining stems. Ideal as a hanging basket or climbing vine, it’s quick growth rate makes it a rewarding addition to your indoor plant collection.
Grow Swiss Cheese plant in bright, indirect light. Ensure the soil mix is well-drained, as roots should maintain some moisture, but never sit wet. To prevent burning or browning of leaf tips, make sure to protect the plant from direct afternoon sun, and provide extra humidity in winter months, if possible. Feed Monstera adansonii with a liquid houseplant food every 4-6 weeks during active growth periods to maintain deep green foliage.
