ZZ ‘Raven’
Zamioculcas zamiifolia, or the ZZ Plant, is easy to grow and offers many benefits. This variety, ZZ ‘Raven’, offers dramatic, black, shiny foliage on it’s older stems. It’s a true collector’s plant! The stems of the plant are upright, with distinctive waxy leaves. Glossy foliage newly emerges as bright green, and matures to black as it ages. This tough plant can be grown in many conditions, including lower light, though bright, indirect light is ideal for best colour. Add ZZ ‘Raven’ to any room to enhance air quality with dramatic flair.
To grow:
- Water infrequently, roughly every 2 to 3 weeks
- Use a free-draining potting mix to avoid too much moisture
- Place in relatively bright, indirect light
- Avoid ingestion, toxic when eaten
